Concord Christmas Chaos

Concord was awash with crazed crowds today as the Mayor of Washington David Snowdon and beloved Sun FM radio presenters Simon Grady & Lauren McLeish started the annual Festive gathering. This year the excitement was tantamount as many new events were added to their schedule to accompany the other rides and stalls. One such event the bull run, has caused much controversy with animal rights groups and hordes of concerned residents and business owners. The grand prize of an unlimited Greggs gift card proved to be a hit and attracted scores of entrants hopeful of bagging the much sought after reward. Many people have branded the stunt dangerous but organisers offered assurances that they had taken safety very seriously. The event then concluded with an erratic fireworks display provided by Washington based firm C.Bros explosives. With only two people reported as being seriously injured. And less than a dozen others needed only light medical attention, yet still, it has been deemed the most successful event yet.....
